Smith Mountain Lake boasts many lovely boat docks which provide service for locals and visitors alike. In 2007 Kim and Karen Yee bought one of them, the Penhook Boat Dock. They have since made some nice additions. Wireless internet for all their customers, an expanded menu for the full-service grill, and a new floating dock are a few of the improvements made for the coming season.

Penhook Boat Dock is situated on a 6 acre point across from The Water’s Edge. They have a public boat launch, bait & tackle, fuel tanks, and small convenience store located on site. They are open seasonal hours April through October. For more information call 540-576-2868.
