Register now to be a part of the upcoming Smith Mountain Lake Business EXPO. Slated for Friday, April 24, at Downtown Moneta, the popular event will be open to the public from Noon to 6 p.m. (A member-to-member networking session will be held from 11 a.m. to noon.)
New this year, in addition to our Chamber-member businesses, non-chamber firms may participate, opening the event to an even wider array of businesses. Non-members are welcome to participate for an additional $100 fee, applied to membership within 30 days of the event.
Organizers are planning for up to 190 booths. Firms large and small will be housed under big-top tents in the frontage area of Downtown Moneta, at the intersection of Virginia Route 122 and Whitehouse Road (Route 608) in Bedford County.
The ESPN Bassmaster Elite “Blue Ridge Brawl” is also being held on April 24. The significance? Traffic to the tournament site will require fishing enthusiasts to drive by the EXPO site, promising even larger crowds. Last year more than 5,000 came to see the businesses on display.
Free admission and free parking is provided. Refreshments will be available to the public offering hot dogs, soft drinks and bottled water for $1 each.
