This weekend is the much anticipated Smith Mountain Lake 21st Annual Wine Festival!! If you enjoy fine wines, this is one even you don’t want to miss. It will be held at Lakewatch Plantation, Sept. 26 & 27.
Advance discount tickets are only good until Sept. 23rd at 5pm. Taster tickets are $18 and Designated driver tickets are $12. After that it’s full price at the gate: Taster tickets are $22 and Designated driver tickets are $15.
You can buy the tickets as well as SML t-shirts at the SML Visitor’s Center and online at the chamber’s website www.visitsmithmountainlake.com.

They Still Need Volunteers at the Festival We still need volunteers to work the Wine Festival Saturday AND Sunday. The positions needed are for handing out wine glasses and wristbands, ticket takers, and ticket sales.
