There will be a Smith Mountain Lake Town Hall Meeting on Tuesday the 23rd of March, which all local residents are encouraged to attend. There is nothing that will improve our community like getting involved. We can help make our area what we want it to be by being part of making it happen.

The Smith Mountain Lake Association (SMLA) will be holding the town hall meeting at Trinity Ecumenical Parish, Rt. 122 and Lakemount Drive in Moneta at 6pm on the 23rd. The Presentations will begin at 6:30 and will include updates on SML projects including the health of the Lake with regard to water quality, Take Pride in Smith Mountain Lake Cleanup Day and a discussion of the Shoreline Management Plan. The meeting is open to the public and is free.
