Each of us at Smith Mountain Lake have our own taste in art. Some like modern abstract art with vague and colorful design. Others like the classics like Monet and Van G0gh. Still Life’s, Mosaics, Oil Paintings, and the list of art styles goes on and on.
We are perhaps most familiar with Watercolor Painting because it is one of the favorite mediums for children to paint with. However, it is also a very beautiful form of expensive art popular in many circles.
If you are a fan of watercolor art or would like to know what it is all about, please join the folks at The Little Gallery as they welcome watercolor artist Ion Carchelan on Saturday and Sunday, May 8 and 9 from 1 – 3 p.m.
At that time Ion will do a demonstration as well as a show of his new work. The show will run through May 31st. The show will be located in the The Little Gallery at Bridgewater Plaza. If you have questions feel free to call 540-721-1596 or visit www.thelittlegallerysml.com.
