If you enjoy a glass of wine, fresh air, and good music, you should come to the 19th Annual Smith Mountain Lake Wine Festival in September. There promises to be a wide diversity of crafters which may be worth driving to see. And of course there will be plenty of vendors with mouth watering smells pouring out from their food stands, and other novel gift stalls as well.
Advance tickets are now available at the SML visitors Center and online at www.visitsmithmountainlake.com. The advance ticket prices will be $18 for those who want to do the wine-tasting, and $10 for the non-taster and designated driver.
The 19th Annual SML Wine Festival is scheduled for Saturday, September 29 (11 AM – 6 PM) and Sunday, September 30 (11 AM – 5 PM), with two bands, The BackStreet Band and Part-Time Party Time Band performing on Saturday. Domino will perform on Sunday. Over 85+ juried crafters and food vendors will be on hand for your shopping and eating pleasure.
