Things are really booming this year at Smith Mountain Lake. I think this might be the 4th time I have found out about two or three new businesses coming in. It is interesting to check each of them out for future reference and to be aware of the diversity offered right here in our area.
The Smith Mountain Lake Flea Market will hold its Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting on Friday, November 9th from Noon until 2 PM at 1118 Hendricks Store Road (in the old Shoprite facility) in Moneta. The ribbon cutting is scheduled for 12:30 PM. Food and refreshments will be served. The SML Flea Market has new owners; Jack and Sally Hutslar, Bob King and Terry Kelly. The Go Agency will hold its Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting at its new location on Booker T. Washington Highway, (the brick building just in front of Food Lion) at the Rt.122 and 616 intersection. Grand Opening will be from Noon until 2 PM on Wednesday, November 7th. The ribbon cutting is scheduled for 12:30 PM. Food and refreshments will be served. Jonie Arrington of Member One Federal Credit Union is the Ambassador for the event.
Pamela Jean Gallery will hold its Grand Opening on Friday, October 26, 2007 from 6 PM until 9:30 PM at 115 Salem, SE, Roanoke. Pam Floyd will be serving food and refreshments and you may tour the gallery which is located just across the street from the new Roanoke Art Museum.
