Special Events at Smith Mountain Lake
There is always something special happening on or around Smith Mountain Lake. Even in the winter you can find gala events and interesting activities somewhere in the vicinity.
Annual Chamber Awards Dinner:
For instance, on January 18, 2007 at the Waterfront Country Club , The Annual Chamber Awards Dinner will be held. There will be delicious food and entertainment, as well as several Special awards to be given to Chamber businesses selected by their fellow members for accomplishments of the past year.

Romantic Valentines Weekends
During this entire month, each weekend from Thursday to Sunday evening will be special for those who frequent many of the lake’s lodging, dining and other area businesses as they celebrate the special romantic private atmosphere the lake provides to its visitors.
