Spring is just a few days away and many of us at Smith Mountain Lake are starting to think about what we want to plant in the yard and the garden already. Last year I had a little bit of a hard time finding just what I wanted at Wal-Mart and so this year I decided to expand my search. I was pleased to find more landscaping and gardening suppliers than I knew existed. If you have not been to see the offerings of the season, then a trip to one of these lovely growers may stimulate your green thumb.

Walter’s Greenhouse – 540.427.3578 Take State Route 122 south to Burnt Chimney and turn right onto State Route 116 north. Proceed to Coopers Cove Road (State Route 681) where you will see our sign, turn right we are 1 ½ miles on the right.
