Well, if we didn’t know it before, we certainly know it now… the Smith Mountain Lake area continues to grow as a premier vacation and retirement destination. Franklin County has hired it’s first tourism manager. Boones Mill resident Debra Weir started Monday, March 22nd to handle the growing need for events coordination to our area.
