Sponsored by Virginia Amateur Sports Inc. Held at the Smith Mountain Lake State Park in Huddleston, the three-part event consists of a 750 meter swim, a 20K bike race and a 5K run. All age groups are welcome. Relay teams are comprised of one swimmer, one cyclist and one runner. Competition categories are Male, Female and Mixed. Registration Deadline: May 5th at 7:45 a.m. or the first 600 entries. 2007 marks the 20th year of this annual Lake clean-up effort by the entire Lake community. The SML Chamber of Commerce, Smith Mountain Lake Association and the Tri-County Lake Administrative Commission cooperate each year to organize a one-day lake clean-up effort. All residents and visitors interested in beautifying the lake are encouraged to participate. Volunteers can register individually, as a group or an association.
