On Thursday, Feb. 28th at 1:00pm. there will be an event of particular interest to the women of Smith Mountain Lake. Dr. Charles Harris, General Surgery and Suzanne Barron, Nurse Practitioner OBGYN from Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital will be speaking on womens health. In particular they will be presenting lectures on the topics of breast and urinary tract health.

The 2 hour presentation will be held in the Resurrection Catholic Church at 15353 Moneta Rd. (Rt. 122 in Bedford). The lecture is free to all interested and if you need more information you can call Gail Nordhaus at Carilion Community Health Education 540-484-8569.
