If you wish to spend Memorial Weekend at Smith Mountain Lake doing something meaningful and fun with the family, you might consider the Moonlight Serenade at the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, Va.

You can begin by viewing the Memorial in the last rays of the sun on Saturday, May 24th and take some time to remember those who gave up so much for our freedom. Then you can bring a chair and enjoy the Jefferson Choral Society, which will perform and evening concert of patriotic music and popular 1940’s songs.

The performers are Rick Dellinger and Keith Campbell and they will begin the concert at 7pm. and there will be music until around 9pm.
