PUBLIC HEARINGS FOR LONG-RANGE TRANSPORTATION
Coming up in July there will be four public hearings/information sessions around the Commonwealth regarding VTRANS 2035, Virginia’s long-range transportation plan that is now in the formative stage. The Virginia Department of Transportation, the Department of Rail and Public Transportation, the Department of Aviation and the Virginia Port Authority will be on hand for these events. The meeting in our area is Thursday, July 9, 4:30 – 7:30 PM at Hidden Valley High School, 5000 Titan Trail in Roanoke.

In addition, you will have an opportunity to offer comments online at www.vtrans.org between Monday, June 22 and Friday, July 17. More information about the hearings is available by clicking here. We encourage you to take this opportunity to make your voice heard on this important issue.
