The “Good Neighbors Camp Session” at Smith Mountain Lake is still going on at Trinity Ecumenical Church and Huddleston Elementary School. This is a camp aimed at helping children with reading difficulties, a very worthwhile cause.
Volunteers are needed to be reading buddies for children during one-on one reading sessions at the camps. The one at Huddleston Elementary started June 15th and runs till July 10th. The camp Trinity Ecumenical Church began on June 20 and goes to August 14th. If you are interested in helping, call 540-297-1307.
