If you are a business owner or are responsible for sales and growth of a company in the Smith Mountain Lake area you will be interested in the SML Chamber of Commerce sponsored luncheon on May 29th from 11:30 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
This will be the first in a series of Chamber-sponsored luncheons and will help us understand what the Virginia Tourism Corporation can do to help draw more people to the lake, cause them to stay longer, and have such a great time they will want to come back. The speaker, Sandra Tanner, is the Tourism Development Specialist with the Virginia Tourism Corporation. She will be discussing the role of tourism in the current economy and suggestions to improve your business’s bottom line and Smith Mountain Lake’s economy.
The luncheon will be held at the Westlake Grill, Westlake Country Club in Hardy, and will begin promptly at 11:30 A.M. Lunch and beverage will cost $10.00 and payment must be received in advance.
